The Horizon FD102 is called the TO-KALON, a fitting reference to Plato’s concept of beauty. Plato’s concept of Kalon describes the beautiful, fine, admirable or noble – in short, all of the qualities that the Horizon FD102 aspires to share.

Ranked as the 7th largest builder in the world and a leading yacht builder in Taiwan, Horizon Yachts’ new Horizon FD102 won the 2021 Taiwan Excellence Gold Award, marking its fifth Gold Award and thirteenth Taiwan Excellence Award.

The annual Taiwan Excellence Awards, established by the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Taiwan in 1993, subject eligible candidates to a rigorous and stringent selection system that covers the four aspects of “R&D”, “Design”, “Quality” and “Marketing” in order to identify outstanding products that offer “Innovative Value”. The Horizon FD102 stood out over more than a thousand products this year with its innovation in all of the above four aspects as recognized by 140 jurors from Taiwan and around the world.

The FD102 is the largest yacht of the FD series, which was co- designed with Cor D. Rover. The TO-KALON is one of Horizon’s customized FD102 yachts, specifically designed to accommodate ten guests in five spacious staterooms including a full-beam master. Its modified layout includes a semi-enclosed flybridge with sliding glass windows, a U-shaped seating area aft of the fully enclosed pilothouse, and alongside this, a full bar with fixed bar stools which is protected from the elements with an overhead hardtop.

The aft deck is fitted with an extendable dining table for up to 12 guests, a BBQ and a Jacuzzi tub for six with a bar counter and fixed stools. The TO-KALON also comes equipped with a tender storage area on the bow along with an extended area starboard for entertaining family and friends. The main saloon is entered through curved glass doors, with the dining area seating 10 located aft to take full advantage of the ocean views and al fresco ambience.
